Poppy.
 
Inspired by the poem "In Flanders Fields", the red poppy has been revered as a symbol for life, death and remembrance for soldiers who have lost their lives since WWI.  For me, the poppy is also a living landmark symbolizing the profound respect that I have for those who serve our country. "Poppy" is dedicated to my daughter who has recently retired from the United States Air Force to raise a family.
