Seizure Series: “sketches from my weekly trauma”, is a very personal look into JJ’s long relationship with an otherworldly force called epilepsy. Unpredictable, jarring, and excruciatingly painful; it is a brain injury it is a wrath. Her immediate recall sketches (post seizure), become a momentous painting that clarifies something once erratic.
